'The Golden Lady' Film 1979

'The Golden Lady' was released in 1979 and is about female mercenaries trying to sabotage a business deal.
Hot Gossip have a three minute routine set in a night-club sadly interspersed with some 18 rated goings on by two characters in the film.The routine appears to be based on 'Walk On The Wild Side' with Carol and Donna dressed as a maid and schoolgirl respectively.Dominique comes on holding a doll,Lorraine is dressed in pink with an umbrella,leather-clad Lindsay and Mark crack whips,and Perri tugs on the collar of her 'slave' Lee.
Wanda Rokicki was in the Hot Gossip group which danced at the Mayfair club Monkberry's.While she didn't make onto the Everett show with the other dancers here she makes a welcome appearance in this film.

Hot Gossip - 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' by Linda Clifford

Here are Hot Gossip dancing to Linda Clifford's version of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' on The Kenny Everett Video Show 18.02.80.The clip was filmed at Kempton water pumping station in West London,the same place Pan's People filmed 'Tap Turns On The Water' in 1971.
I love the use of fans and hoses as props throughout the dance.The smiley close-ups are great too.This is an exciting and imaginative dance to watch.

David Dundas - 'Jeans On'

Here are two videos of 'Jeans On' by David Dundas.The first is on Top Of The Pops.Like the dancers on 'It Only Takes A Minute' by Jonathan King,the three dancers here wear T-shirts with the words 'Hot Gossip' on them.I believe the dancers here are Libby Rose(right with short hair),Lavinia Lang(centre) and Judy Ford(left).In the second video the dancers aren't wearing the 'Hot Gossip' T-shirts but i believe they are the same dancers;Libby Rose is there(centre in the picture) and the dance itself looks the same as on Top Of The Pops.
